This is the stuff I’m using to stay consistent. No fancy hacks. Just the basics, repeated until results happen.
The plan
- Eat between 12pm–8pm
- Two meals (and sometimes a snack—calm down, it’s not a buffet)
- 15 minutes treadmill walk daily
- 25-lb dumbbells: 3 sets of 5 (curls, shrugs, presses)
- Track everything in Apple Notes (receipts matter)
Go-to foods
- Eggs
- Chicken
- Salad mixes + grilled chicken
- Apples
Meals I repeat
- Meal 1: Eggs + whatever makes them less boring
- Meal 2: Chicken + salad (yes again)
- Snack (sometimes): Apple (I’m trying to be responsible)
Tracking
- Food log: Apple Notes (simple list of what I ate)
- Workout log: daily tracker (treadmill + dumbbell sets)
Rules I’m trying to live by
- Consistency beats perfection (unfortunately)
- Track it even if it’s not “perfect” (especially then)
- Keep meals simple so I don’t negotiate with myself
